The cold apulian cialledda

The cialledda, also called acquasale, is a typical dish of the Apulian tradition being a cheap and quick dish, with a rustic and classic flavour.

Ideal for the summer season, it is excellent for taking advantage of the last hot days and savoring it with an extra touch: our Armonia EVO oil.

Its preparation is simple and quick: in fact we find stale bread as the protagonist together with tomatoes, red onion and oregano and also enriched with cucumbers, olives and celery.

Procedimento

1

First, cut the stale bread into slices about 3 cm thick and then into chunks

2

Pour a little water into a deep plate and add the bread, leaving it to soften for about ten minutes

3

So now we can gently squeeze it and place it in a bowl

4

We wash the cherry tomatoes and cut them into wedges and, after having washed them carefully, we also cut the cucumbers into rounds, with or without peel

5

Now peel the onion and slice thinly and combine all the ingredients we have prepared

6

Once this is done, we can proceed with the seasoning with Totaro Armonia EVO oil, oregano, salt and mix delicately to be able to serve it

Done!
